What Happens Next?

Contact me to arrange an assessment session, at this session you will have the opportunity to share your story with me and give expressions to the concerns that brought you to counselling. I will also ask a few questions to get to know you and your circumstances better.

The assessment will help us establish the reasons you are in therapy and what you expect to achieve during our time together. If you feel that you want to work with me after the assessment session, we will then discuss a plan on how best we can work together to get the most out of the counselling sessions. I will work with you during subsequent sessions to develop a better relationship with yourself to enable you understand the issues affecting you in ‘the here and now’.

The initial sessions of therapy can sometimes bring up painful feelings, it is part of the healing process and with my support and guidance we can work together to make your therapeutic journey enlightening, empowering and restorative. I provide a realistic, confidential, non-judgmental space, where we can start to disentangle and understand what is going on for you.
